Former Pakistani star cricketer Wasim Akram on Tuesday said he will move court against the ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, Reham Khan, for her book that he termed as ‘sad and low’ attempt against his late wife, Huma Wasim.

During an interview to a private news channel, Akram claimed that Reham’s book proved that she could do anything for money. “Reham is also a mother but she still did this.”

The cricketer said that he had only one encounter with Reham Khan when Imran Khan invited him over for dinner after his marriage with Reham.

On Monday, Reham Khan had been served with defamation notices by her former husband Ijaz ur Rehman, former cricketer Wasim Akram, Imran’s close aide Zulfi Bukhari, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa outgoing chief minister Pervez Khattak, PTI’s Hamza Ali Abbasi, Asad Umar, Murad Saeed, Anila Khawaja and four others for publishing ‘defamatory and malicious’ content in her upcoming autobiography.
