RAWALPINDI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Director-General Hassan Baig on Sunday visited the Islamabad International Airport (IIA) and inspected facilities being provided to passengers.

A CAA spokesman told the media that the director general had instructed authorities to ensure cleanliness of all areas of the airport and establish more desks to facilitate the passengers. Moreover, the airport management was also directed to place more signage in different areas of the terminal building.

In order to provide transport to the visitors, arrangements should also be made in coordination with the relevant departments.

Since the opening of the new airport, passengers have been facing transport problems as private transporters on the route to the airport are fleecing them.
