Pakistan women team beat Thailand by 8 wickets in T20 Asia Cup


Pakistan women cricket team started the tournament with a dominant performance by defeating Thailand with eight wickets in its opening match.

Asian Cricket Council tweeted: “. seal it with a boundary! Bibi Nahida remains unbeaten on 38 (41) as Pakistan beat by 8 wickets to round up action on the first day of the Women’s Asia Cup 2018.

Batting first, Thailand scored 67 for loss of eight wickets in its 20 overs, after batting collapse from 31-1 in 6 overs to 67-8 in 20 overs.

Chasing, Bibi Nahid gave Pakistan a flying start when the team scored 24 runs in first three overs. Pakistan chased the target easily with loss of two wickets.

Bibi Nahida was given the Player of the Match award for her unbeaten 38 runs.
