QUETTA: A gas explosion inside a mine in Quetta resulted in the death of four labourers on Sunday.
According to Chief Inspector of Mines Iftikhar Ahmed, nine colliers were working in the mine, explaining that four laborers died after being trapped under debris.
Three of the deceased hailed from Swat while one miner from Kalat died due to his injuries at a hospital.
Operations by rescue teams helped rescue six miners, according to Ahmed.
