KARACHI: Two persons were killed and six others injured in a collision between a Suzuki pickup and a tractor-trailer near Sabzi Mandi area of the city on Saturday.
According to rescues sources, a fast-moving tractor-trailer went out of drivers’ control and collided with a Suzuki pickup after its break failed near Sabzi Mandi on Superhighway. As a result, two persons, Iqbal and Shafiq suffered severe injuries and died on the spot, while, six including, Imran, Rafiq, Ghulam Mustafa and Ekram sustained injuries in the accident.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsies and treatment, respectively.
