KARACHI: Two suspects were remanded in judicial custody by an accountability court in a case related to the conversion of industrial land into commercial and residential plots in an illegal manner.
Abu Bakar and Abdul Aziz, the suspects, had been arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) after the Sindh High Court (SHC) cancelled their interim bail.
Land Utilisation Department former secretary Ghulam Mustafa Phull escaped from the court.
The former secretary had allegedly approved the conversion.
