LEEDS: Middle-order batsman Usman Salahuddin is likely to replace injured Babar Azam in the second Test match at Leeds against England.

Salahuddin, who had made two ODI appearances for Pakistan in the past was selected for this tour after his impressive performance in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He has played 99 first-class matches with the average of 46.53.
Babar Azam got injured in the Lord’s Test when a short ball by Ben Stokes hit on his wrist, fracturing it. The team physio Cliffe Deacon, the batsman sustained a fracture just above his wrist.
The right-handed batsman is expected to be out of the game for at least four to six weeks.
