HAFIZABAD: At least three people, including chairman of union council (UC) belonging to Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), died while three others were injured in a road mishap here on Thursday.
Police said that the accident took place on a motorway in Pindi Bhattian area of Hafizabad district where a speeding trailer hit a land cruiser.

The trailer driver escaped from the scene of the accident. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police impounded both vehicles and after registering a case into the incident have started the investigation.
