Video of an act of kindness by a Karachi policeman with a stray dog is going viral on social media.
In the video, a policeman can be seen giving water to the dog for drinking and people are lauding the official as the metropolitan city is facing another spell of heatwave these days.
After giving the dog water for drinking, he also threw some water on the dog so that it remains cool for sometime.

On Tuesday, the temperature of Karachi soared to 41 C as the city braced for the start of yet another heatwave. According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) this latest heatwave will last till Thursday.
The social media users appreciated the act as one user wrote: “We need more men like this”.
Another user wrote: “Kindness to the lower beings is what humanity is all about. God is love”.
Appreciating the policeman, one user wrote: Salute you Sir. Bht khushi hoti hai jab mere jaisay log nazar atay hain aj ki dunia mei”.
One of the users demanded, “The policeman should be rewarded”.
