ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed and Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-Fazlur Rehman (JUI-F) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman have been provided with the highest number of security officials, at public expense, the government said, reported a local English newspaper.
Interior Special Secretary Rizwan Malik told the Senate Standing Committee on Interior that Sheikh Rasheed, Imran Khan and Fazlur Rehman have been provided with four police officials each.
“The security officials are being provided according to threat alerts generated by various agencies,” he said.
