Former Pakistan cricket team captain Misbah-ul-Haq said he would prefer Saeed Ajmal over Shahid Afridi to be on a deserted island.

During an interview with Zainab Abbas, the captain cool explained that Saeed Ajmal will somehow arrange the food even on that deserted island.

“He will find some contact, call him and food will be delivered to the island,” he said, adding that the company of the off-spinner would also be great because of his sense of humour.

Furthermore, Misbah also shared the “magical words” he exchanged with Umar Akmal during the match against West Indies in 2013 at St Lucia.

Misbah cussed Umar Akmal when he refused the second run even Misbah was halfway down the pitch and those words were caught by wicket microphones.

“It was just heat of the moment as I had made my mind for the second run,” Misbah recalled, adding that he was 40 at that time and Akmal was young so he should have run for the second.
