Royal Wedding reminds Farhan, Urwa Hocane their ‘own love story’

Britain’s Prince Harry and US TV star Meghan Markle exchanged wedding vows in front of a star-studded congregation as tens of thousands of fans cheered in the street and millions watched around the world.

Meanwhile, the Royal Wedding reminded Pakistani actress Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed their own love story. On her official Facebook page, the actress shared the picture collage of her and Royal Wedding and wrote: “The #RoyalWedding of Meghan and Harry gave us butterflies. It reminded us of our own love story of #UrwaFarhan which was crafted a year ago and was trending like wildfire on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram! #LoveConquersAll”

However, most of the fans did not like the comparison and trolled the actress.

On user gave the couple desi titles writing: “Duke of Badin, Duchess of Tando Adam”.

One user presented the coverage comparison between both weddings and wrote: “Your wedding highlights was shown on local news for 75 seconds with the background music dulhay ka sehra ..they got whole wedding coverage from international channels…bas yehi chota sa difference ha dono me”.

Another user presented her own comparison, “Obviously the Royals are copying desis.”

One of the users called it “Zabardsti ki shauhrat!”

Some of her fans did support her as one wrote: “Everyone is royal in their own way and love is something that has no difference, love is love either it’s is #royal or not”.

One of the users rightly mentioned stating, “Apart from all the jokes! though I am not so big fan of Urwa I want to say this after reading comments above, hamaray dil etnay chotay kyon hain“.

And in the end, the admin of the page appreciated the positive comments and thanked the fans: “We appreciate the positivity. It truly is just a post about LOVE. We have clearly not mentioned any comparisons anywhere in the caption. We only meant that this love story reminded us of Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed’s love story. And trending part is a fact that can be googled also. Believe it or not but the hashtag #UrwaFarhan was trending last year”.
