No country can develop by raising hollow slogans, fake promises: Bilawal

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that no country could develop and prosper by raising hollow slogans or making false promises. “A country can only prosper when the labourers and growers of the country are economically emancipated,” he said.

While talking to different delegations that called on him at Zardari House Islamabad, Bilawal instructed office bearers of the party to involve senior PPP workers in the election campaign as they were the strength of the late Benazir Bhutto.

He asked that how a person who could not build a single hospital, university and college in KP in the last five years could build the entire country and said that PPP gave identity to Pakhtuns and only PPP guaranteed their prosperity.

Office bearer of PPP KP including PPP KP President Humayun Khan, GS Faisal Karim Kundi, Secretary Information Senator Rubina Khalid, Senator Behramand Tangi and Akhundzada Chattan were among those who called on the PPP chief. PPP Secretary General Farhatullah Babar, PPP SG Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Jamil Ahmed Soomro and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar were also present on the occasion.
