PML-N leaders defend Nawaz Sharif, call him most popular

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Affairs, Senator Dr Musadik Malik has said former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was the most popular leader among the masses as hundreds of thousands of people were participating in his public gatherings across the country.

Some elements were trying to hatch conspiracies to defame and decrease the popularity graph of Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) but they would fail in their designs, he said talking to a news channel.

He said Nawaz Sharif who had always worked in best national interest, brought stability and strengthened the national economy. The workers and supporters had always shown commitment and sympathies with their cherish leader, he added.

NO ONE CAN COMPETE WITH NAWAZ ON POLITICAL GROUND: Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan has said no political leader could compete with former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on political ground and due to which, they were hatching conspiracies against him.

Such conspirators were using every negative tactics against Nawaz Sharif for political point-scoring but they would fail in doing so, he said talking to a private news channel.

The minister said Nawaz Sharif had carried out operations Zarb-e-Azb and Raddul Fasaad to eliminate menace of terrorism and launched number of welfare projects including China Pakistan Economic Corridor to bring economic revolution in the country.

He said, “Nawaz Sharif had asserted to cleanse our home which is also narrative of PML-N.”

Some nefarious elements had distorted his statements to achieve political motives but they would fail in their designs.

FAKE ALLEGATIONS OF MONEY LAUNDERING: Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz has rejected the bogus allegations of money laundering against former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, who was an honest and righteous person in the country.

The National Assembly Committee on Law and Justice directed the Chairman National Accountability Bureau (Retd) Justice Javed Iqbal to appear before the committee to explain about issuing a press release regarding allegations of money laundering against Nawaz Sharif but he did not appear, he said talking to a private news channel.

The minister said people were well-aware about the fake cases against Nawaz Sharif, who was still the most popular leader among masses.

He said Nawaz Sharif was disqualified on having an Iqama but not on corruption charges, but on the other hand Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan was involved in money laundering in India and foreign funding case.

He further said Imran Khan was a cunning politician and his politics was based on baseless allegations.

PML-N POPULAR PARTY OF COUNTRY: Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was the most popular party of the country.

Those political figures who tied their knots with other parties for personal gains could not lessen the popularity of the PML-N, he said while talking to a private news channel.

The PML-N had been facing difficult challenges, he said, adding all the party workers and members  were fully united under the flag of the party.

“Ups and downs are the part of political system but it does not mean that it will affected the party,” he said.

To a question, he said the PML-N would win the next elections on the basis of performance made during the period of past five years.
