JHANG: A merciless man gunned down his married sister and a niece over domestic issues here on Sunday. Police arrested the accused with the murder weapon.
Police said that accused Taj over domestic disputes opened indiscriminate fire at his sister and niece in Chak No. 230, in Mochiwala police station jurisdiction in Jhang.
As a result of firing both Kosar and her daughter, Saeeda were killed on the spot.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem. The police arrested the accused Taj along with murder weapon and after registering a case against him started an investigation.
Earlier this month, a man axed his sister over a domestic dispute in Bhakkar. Hafizullah alias Shakir, the accused, had married a woman in a watta satta ceremony, a year ago, according to details.
After an argument, his wife went to her parental home and his sister, Naheed Akhtar, followed suit. This enraged Hafizullah and after having a heated argument with her, he reportedly murdered his sister, 20-year-old Naheed, with an axe. Police took the body into custody and started conducting raids to arrest the accused.
