LARKANA: People foiled bid to kidnap a four-year little girl here on Saturday by capturing accused.
The minor girl, Rashida, a daughter of Ahmed Khan Mugheri, came out from her home to procure a thing from a shop in Faisal Colony, where an unknown person tried to abduct her but she raised hue and cry. At the moment, the neighbours rushed to the scene and rescued her.
They also captured accused Dildar, son of Qaiser Bozdar, who is said to be resident of Brohi railway crossing locality of Larkana. The accused was handed over to the police after beating him severely.
The girl’s father told the media that labourers working on repair of a mosque rescued his daughter when they heard cries of his daughter as she went out to get a thing from a shop in the locality. Station House Officer (SHO) Ghulam Rasul Goondal said that people of the area informed them about the incident due to which they reached there on the spot, arrested accused Dildar Bozdar and arrested him.
He said that a Frist Information Report (FIR) has been registered on the application victim’s father and they are probing about the criminal record of the accused. It must be mentioned here that crime is constantly rising in the city and other areas but police have so far failed to curb it with the iron hand of law.
