The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday issued a weather advisory in relation to Karachi stating that day temperature in the metropolis are likely to remain between 40°C and 43°C during next five to six days.
The PMD urged authorities to ensure adequate supply of water and power so that the situation may not aggravate for the public, keeping in view the ongoing month of Ramazan and people fasting during the month.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the advisory and issued directives to the authorities concerned to take adequate measures to counter the situation.
