PML-N will defeat ‘unseen forces’: Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Thursday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, would defeat the “unseen forces”, insisting that the role of non-democratic forces would be abolished.

Speaking to media representatives here, the minister said PML-N supremo, Nawaz, made Pakistan a nuclear state and gave it “game-changing” projects like the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He said that Nawaz, in his recent statement, pointed out something which was blown out of proportion by the Indian media. “He spoke of non-state actors but his words were given a different meaning for one’s own vested interest,” said Sanaullah and added that a specific lobby targeted Nawaz, “But the PML-N was standing with its leader and will defeat the non-democratic forces.”

The minister further said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman was attempting to rectify things, but his team was same as the one that existed earlier. He also said that certain individuals were given a clean chit in Sindh as NAB had a “lenient attitude” towards them unlike in Punjab.

The minister trained guns at Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders and said the “Day of Judgment must be approaching” for people like Faryal Talpur, Muzaffar Tappi and Pir Mazharul Haq had been acquitted of their dishonesty.
