Social media reacts to massive power breakdown across country

A technical fault at the Tarbela power plant resulted in the breakdown of electricity in most areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Wednesday morning.

It was reported by the power plant officials that the sudden blackout had affected various cities that included Lahore, Multan and Bahawalpur. Moreover, in KP, it had affected cities like Peshawar, Swat and Lakki Marwat.

Here’s how the social media reacted to massive power breakdown:

Calling out Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, one user wrote: “Shahbaz Sharif, I would like to meet you sometime and explain you the meaning of . Perhaps you seem to believe in some other meaning of the word because there is NO electricity in Lahore since 9am. Take off your circus hat and take some serious action.”

Another user asked the question, which we all have been asking since morning: “Is this a countrywide breakdown? No light in MUX since 9:30am”.

One user “praised the progress” of Pakistan and compared the country with Mars, writing: “No water No light No Gas Only oxygen is left We are progressing with the speed of orange train  Soon Pakistan will beat

Another mentioned, there is no time frame is given for fixation of the problem,”Technical breakdown in Tarbela dam, no time frame is given for its fixation.

And one user mentioned that, it is even proper summer has not arrived yet, and this is the situation of load-shedding, “Abhi tak to sahi see Garmin start b nahe howi or ye haal he bijli kA
