Qadamgah Maula Ali and Sakhi Abdul Wahab Shah Jillani shrine to get beefed up security

HYDERABAD: District administration has decided to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and beefed up security to Qadamgah Maula Ali and Sakhi Abdul Wahab Shah Jillani shrine after a meeting chaired by Hyderabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anis Dasti.

In addition to the DC, the meeting was also attended by senior police and civil administration officials, president of the Imamia Central Trust(ICT) and the shrine’s caretaker.

The DC decided that encroachments around the shrine would also be removed.

The Auqaf administrator was also asked by DC Dasti to cancel the allotment of spaces that posed a security threat to the places in question and instead make new allotments.

The DC also constituted a committee to mark a place for the construction of a parking plaza. The committee comprised the city’s assistant commissioner, a representative of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and the municipal commissioner.
