PML-Q doubts govt’s intentions over Khatam-e-Nabuwwat matter

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on Wednesday said that not publishing Raja Zafarul Haq committee report is a proof of the government’s bad intentions over Khatam-e-Nabuwwat matter.

They said this while talking during a meeting with Darbar-e-Aaliya Bhangali Sharif Gujjar Khan Sajjada Nasheen Pir Syed Makhdoom Abbas Muhammad Shah at the latter’s residence in Islamabad. On this occasion, Central Secretary General Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Raja Nasir and Sajid Shah were also present.

Pir Abbas Muhammad Shah apprised PML-Q leaders about the unrest and reservations prevailing among the masses at large and the religious parties about government’s attitude regarding Khatam-e-Nabuwwat and exchanged views in this regard at some lengths.

Shujat and Parvez further said that PML-Q respects the sentiments of religious circles and people over Khatam-e-Nabuwwat matter and it also has similar feelings and sentiments and that is why it stands with them.

They asked that when rulers are openly admitting their ill-intentions regarding Dawn Leaks and other matters, why are they still afraid about their conspiracy being exposed in the matter and not publishing Raja Zafarul Haq committee report. They said that if they publish the report, their falsehood and bad intentions regarding Khatam-e-Nabuwwat matter will come to the fore.
