RAWALPINDI: Najma, a mother of five children, was allegedly shot dead by her ex-husband on Monday.
30-year-old Najma was gunned down by her ex-husband in Gulshanabad, Adiala Road, according to police.
Najma lived with her husband and worked as a housemaid in a house in Gulshanabad and lived in the house’s servant room, according to investigating officer (IO) Mohammad Arif.
The IO added that the husband had divorced his wife on April 21 following which Najma had gone to live with her mother along with five of her children, which also included an eight-month-old baby.
