ISLAMABAD: An anonymous letter titled ‘Justice for Adam’s Son’ claiming that recent allegations against male police officers were nothing more than an attempt to disgrace them has been received by heads of various departments and institutions in the capital including Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Sultan Azam Temuri.

The letter was written in response to an earlier letter titled ‘Justice for Eve’s Daughter’ and said that “it takes two to tango”.

Female members of the force encouraged men for favours, claimed the letter.

The letter also claimed that the author had evidence including videos and screenshots which allegedly proved that nine men and women were in relationships with each other.

Assistant Inspector General of Police Asmatullah Junejo had conducted an inquiry on the earlier letter and said that “nothing concrete” had been found pertaining to harassment allegations against male officials.

IGP Temuri said that an inquiry would be held pertaining to the new letter’s contents.
