While #SonamKiShadi is still trending, we decided to put together our favourite moments from Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja.

Given how low-key and intimate Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding was, we were expecting the same from the Kapoors. However, their final event, the reception, changed into the Bollywood party of the year and gave us a week-long worth of entertainment.

Here are our favourite moments from the reception.

1 – Anand Ahuja, dressed in a sherwani and sneakers, showing off his new wife!

2 – Karan Johar’s killer dance moves as he grooves to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sajanji Ghar Aye and Shava Shava.

3 – The uncle-nephew duo of Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor dancing to Tu Ne Maari Enteriyaan, from the film Gunday, like there’s no tomorrow. Turns out they were just warming up at this point.

4 – Anil Kapoor’s ‘jhakas.’ Honestly speaking, Anil was the epitome of Punjabi fathers as he danced his heart out at his daughter’s wedding. His energy and vibe was infectious!

5 – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan embarrassing Sonam Kapoor’s mother as they sing “Yeh Bandhan Toh” from their film Karan Arjun. Sunita can clearly be heard saying, “I don’t know these two.”

6 – Kareena Kapoor Khan dancing to “Badri ki Dulhaniya” is all of us at weddings.

7 – Ranveer Singh dancing on “Dama Dam Mast Kalandar.”

8 – Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor’s performance on “Koi Mil Gaya.”

9 – The boys all asking Sonam Kapoor, “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi?” What even? Things alcohol does to you.

10 – Ranveer Singh takes the groom on a spin ensuring that he is up throwing up all night! Just watching this has given us a minor headache, feeling quite sorry for poor Anand.

All in all, the videos and pictures from the wedding are extremely addictive and leave you wishing that you had attended the reception in person to witness all the action and entertainment first-hand.

This picture was too good not to be included. So will just leave this here.
