LAHORE: Former Pakistan right-arm pacer and Pakistan national team coach Waqar Younis praised his teammate and “competitor”, Wasim Akram.
Talking at a private function, Younis said that Wasim Akram is probably the best left-arm fast bowler world has ever seen. “I have learned a lot from the legendary fast bowler,” he said, adding that it was an honour for him to play beside him.
“We have won many games for Pakistan cricket team together,” he said.

Further, talking about hard work, the “toe-crusher” said that he has always believed in this. “I have seen my seniors like Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and Sarfraz Nawaz working hard and have followed them,” said Younis.
“Because of that hard work, I am here today.”
