Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Quantico’ gets cancelled

Priyanka Chopra’s action drama television show Quantico has been cancelled.

In what was possibly a nightmare for television shows, Friday night marked the death of several tv shows including Quantico which features Chopra as an FBI recruit framed for a bombing attack, Variety reported.

However, the show’s current season, which premiered last month, will continue to air through mid-July.

The hit show which plummeted Chopra into Hollywood stardom had a viewership of 2.3 million in total. Chopra even won two People’s Choice Awards for her performance as Agent Alex Parrish in the show.

While Chopra hasn’t made an official comment on this development, actor Kal Penn shared this news in a tweet with which he wrote, “Hey Priyanka Chopra let’s do a movie.”

To this, Priyanka replied, “Done n done Kal Penn.”

The series also stars Josh Hopkins, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington, Graham Rogers, Anabelle Acosta, Russell Tovey, Pearl Thusi, Blair Underwood, Marlee Matlin and Alan Powell.

Other shows which have been cancelled include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mick, Zach Braff starrer Alex, Inc., Marvel series Inhumans, Deception, The Crossing, Designated Survivor, Lucifer and The Last Man on Earth.
