Javed Hashmi endorses Nawaz’s narrative at Multan rally

–Ex-aide announces to accept PML-N supremo’s leadership

–Nawaz Sharif welcomes Hashmi, admires Multan gathering

MULTAN: Before Nawaz Sharif’s address to the Multan rally, his former aide Javed Hashmi announced to ‘accept the leadership’ of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo, supporting his narrative to demand respect for the vote.

In his address to the PML-N rally, the senior politician said, “I had been strayed for a few moments, however, today I announce accepting Nawaz’s leadership.”

He mentioned that Nawaz was his leader and would continue to be. He said that he had told his children to bury him in the PML-N flag.

“I have asked my children to bury me in Muslim League’s flag,” he remarked.

However, Hashmi remained reluctant to make the formal announcement of officially joining the PML-N. He told the participants of the rally that he would not make an announcement with respect to joining the PML-N.

Hashmi admitted that the current situation of the country was difficult, adding that “the one, whose three government were toppled, has been fighting for the rights of the people.”

“History has not witnessed such a leader anywhere,” Hashmi referred to Nawaz Sharif.

He said the “movement of the vote through which Pakistan was formed, they had been trying to save its sanctity.”

DETERMINED NAWAZ:

On the other hand, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, while addressing the PML-N’s Multan power show, said that he is still determined despite the fact that he was disqualified and sent home.

The ex-PM said he could just not return the immense love and respect they had showered on him. Nawaz said that he had visited Multan many times, but never witnessed such a passion. He said that he witnessed the same passion during his recent visits to Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.

“You made Nawaz Sharif prime minister by voting in his favour on May 11,” he recalled, claiming that he had delivered on every promise.

Referring to his disqualification ruled by the apex court, Nawaz Sharif said, “You [PML-N’s gathering in Multan] and I will overturn the decision in 2018.”

MULTAN STANDS WITH NAWAZ’:

Addressing the Multan rally, the ex-premier’s daughter Maryam Nawaz said Multan supports the PML-N supremo, adding that a rally is organised wherever Nawaz stands.

She said, “A few individuals got tired of hatching conspiracies, if there was anyone who did not grew tired, then it was mine and your leader Nawaz Sharif.”
