ISLAMABAD: A group of students from different public schools that are managed by Zindagi Trust, an organisation striving to make quality education accessible to an average Pakistani child, met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Wednesday.
These students had excelled in education and different sporting fields, including cricket, football and chess, a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) read.
The army chief said on the occasion that Pakistan had one of the most talented and vibrant youth. He encouraged the youth to closely watch the latest developments in science, information technology and other modern disciplines to compete at the international level. As a goodwill gesture, the COAS also played a game of chess with a girl student.
