I can show you the world: Khursheed Shah on Sindh’s development

LOWER DIR: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khursheed Shah on Wednesday made an open invitation to everyone who is doubtful of Sindh’s development, to visit the province with him.

“Come with me to Sindh and see for yourself how the poor are provided healthcare and education,” he said during a public address in Chakdara, Lower Dir and went on to claim that millions of people are operated free of charge in Sindh every day.

“This is development,” Shah beamed, adding that opposition parties should ‘be ashamed’

“Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) wants to improve the welfare of the poor and to ensure that we increased funds of provinces by cutting down the share of the federal government,” said the politician.

He then took a jibe at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) saying, “They claim they have ended load-shedding but power outages are continuing with some areas rendered without electricity for 12 hours. Load-shedding has only ended in the houses of leaders.”

“Today, NFC awards are not announced unconstitutionally,” he said further.

“Until all provinces are not strengthened, the centre will remain weak,” said the opposition leader.

“All of Sindh’s gas is given to Punjab. Take the gas, Punjab is also mine but also give some to the province where it is coming from,” he mourned.

“An economic corridor plan is necessary but not over your own nation’s interests. CPEC is passing through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh and Balochistan but work is only being done in Punjab,” concluded Shah.
