NORTHAMPTONSHIRE: Pakistan defeated Northamptonshire by nine wickets in the second tour match, but opener Azhar Ali remained unable to make his mark in both matches.
Azhar had a golden chance to find his form while chasing 133 in second innings, as he only scored 15 against Kent and 9 in first innings, but a runout ended his innings quite early.
In an attempt to take a run on a leg-bye, Ali and Imamul Haq collided in mid-pitch, resulted in direct-hit-runout of the right-handed batsman, who could not do anything except stand and stare towards Haq.
