MUMBAI: Following months of speculations and rumours, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor has finally tied the knot with Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja in an intimate ceremony at a bungalow in Mumbai and has become Sonam Kapoor-Ahuja, according to her sister Rhea Kapoor
Pictures of Sonam looking absolutely resplendent in traditional clothes are currently dominating our Instagram and social media newsfeed and are redefining bridal goals.
Celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Rani Mukherjee, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh are among those in attendance.
The wedding was a traditional Sikh affair.
Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor decided to perform karoke for the newly-weds as they sung to the tune of Masakali from the Sonam starrer Delhi 6.
The wedding festivities will end with a party in the evening at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.
The wedding invite, instead of an ostentatious invitation card, was a beautifully designed e-card that said, “Your presence on our special day is the only gift we desire.”
The dress code for Tuesday is Indian traditional and mentions no colour theme, unlike Monday’s mehndi ceremony.
