MADRID: Manchester City won the English Premier League 2018 despite a 0-0 draw with Huddersfield on Sunday but team’s victory celebrations were dented after the trophy was dropped by the City’s players during final ceremony.
Following the incident Man City player Ilkay Gundon asked on Twitter: “Does anyone knows a place that repairs trophies? Asking for a friend.”

Replying the tweet, Real Madrid player Sergio Ramos said that he “may know a few places” but “he hasn’t called since 2011”.
Ramos dropped the Copa del Rey trophy, the Spanish equivalent of the FA Cup, in 2011. The incident was widely reported by the international media.
“Letting the trophy fall is becoming a trend,” Ramos further said.
