Two kilogrammes of illicit drugs recovered at Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD:  Two kilogrammes of crystal methamphetamine was recovered from a passenger at the Islamabad International Airport by the Airport Security Force (ASF) on Monday.

The passenger, Khalas Taj, hails from Nowshera and was set to travel to Riyadh via a domestic airlines’ flight.

He had hidden the drugs in his luggage and has been arrested for further investigation, say ASF officials. The latest incident comes a day after a passenger was arrested for carrying a 30-bore pistol at the new airport.
