KARACHI: The designer duo behind the stunning costumes in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmaavat, Rimple and Harpeet Narula, held their first-ever fashion show in Pakistan Thursday at the Shan-e-Pakistan event in Karachi.
And it was none other than Pakistani actress Saba Qamar who show-stopped for them. Saba, who made her Bollywood debut alongside Irrfan Khan in the film Hindi Medium, donned a stunning gold and red ensemble with velvet detailing and chadar. Needless to say, she looked gorgeous and appeared to have stepped right out of the movie, Padmaavat.
Her makeup done by celebrity artist, Fatima Nasir, was glowy and subtle while the jewellery she wore was by designer Asim Jofa. We have to admit here that Saba looked absolutely regal and radiant and carried the look with grace.
Sharing her experience in an Instagram post, Saba wrote, “Wonderful experience being the showstopper for Padmavat designers, Rimple and Harpreet at Shan-e-Pakistan. Your collection was jaw-dropping. Congratulations on executing an amazing show in Pakistan.”
