KARACHI: Karachi police on Thursday claimed to have arrested four criminals, including an alleged kidnapper, from different areas of the city.
According to police sources, SITE police arrested an accused Nadir, son of Abdul Ghafoor and recovered an abducted boy Suleman, son of Rehmat from Habib Chowrangi of SITE area. Police said that the kidnapper had demanded a ransom of Rs 100000, from Suleman family. The police also recovered a pistol from him.
During patrolling Madina Colony police team arrested two drug peddlers, Muhammad Fayyaz alias Chunna son of Sher Deen and Nasarullah son of Muhammad Sarwar, and recovered a Kalashnikov and a huge quantity of hashish from their possession.
Police nabbed a robber, syed Asghar Raza during robbery in Madina Colony while two of his accomplices fled the scene. They recovered a TT pistol and snatched mobile phone from the accused.
The police have registered FIRs against detainees and stated further investigation.
