PCB conducts ‘tall and fast’ bowling camp for fast bowlers at NCA


LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) conducted the ‘tall and fast’ bowling camp for fast bowlers in National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.

According to NCA coach, Masood Rana, the board is conducting this camp for the fast bowlers from remote areas. “These bowlers are being selected from the areas where the basic training facilities are not available,” Rana said, adding that any bowler who is tall and has bowling speed over 135 km/h is selected for the camp.

He further said that team of head coaches of the academy visited the remote areas and selected these bowlers. “The camp is being conducted for last two to three years and it is a great initiative,” he said.

Rana further said that during the camp these bowlers are given training in different aspects of the fast bowling including fitness, technique, and art of bowling.
