KARACHI: Former captain of Pakistan cricket team and hard hitter batsman Shahid Afridi thanked the former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton for “supporting the cause of humanity” and his Shahid Afridi Foundation.
Afridi further wrote: “Together we all are #HopeNotOut.”
He was replying to a video message of Ms Clinton, in which she greeted the all-rounder and thanked him for the message, he sent through the common friend, John, at an event.
“I wish you the very best,” she said.
Thank you @HillaryClinton for supporting the cause of #Humanity and your best wishes.

Shahid Afridi runs a welfare foundation which works for education and health in different parts of the country. A few days back, Afridi extended his help to the legendary former Pakistani hockey player Mansoor Ahmed, who is fighting with a heart disease.
Afridi ensured him complete medical support through his foundation.
