QUETTA: Lasbela University (LU) on Monday issued a notice announcing a public holiday on the eve of Labour Day on May 1 while mandating varsity employees including plumbers, drivers, security guards, malis (gardeners), tube well operators and others to perform their duties as per the routine on the public holiday.
The document was signed by LU registrar and was distributed to vice chancellor’s personal security officer, pro-vice-chancellor’s personal assistant, deans/heads of all departments, security officer and others.
