Nisar to contest upcoming polls from one NA, two provincial assembly seats

ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister and disgruntled leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, on Monday, announced to contest general elections 2018 from three constituencies.

Talking to a delegation comprising chairmen and vice chairmen of 27 union councils (UCs) of NA-59, Nisar said that he will contest the upcoming general elections for the National Assembly (NA) seat NA-59 and provincial assembly seats PP-10 and PP-14.

The decision regarding contesting election from NA-63 will be made after consultations, he added.

It’s worth mentioning here that the former interior minister made this announcement before the PML-N has officially awarded ticket to him.

The delegation lauded Chaudhry Nisar’s services for the people of his constituency and assured him of all sorts of cooperation during the upcoming election.

Nisar thanked the local bodies’ representatives for their support and well-wishes for him.
