LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz retweeted the picture of her political rival, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, on her official Twitter handle.
She retweeted it to refute the rumours that the girl in the said picture was her daughter. “This is not my daughter. Stop churning out lies,” she clarified.

Earlier, the picture was making rounds on social media as some Twitterati claimed that girl in the photo is the daughter of Maryam Nawaz.
Both PML-N and PTI are political rivals as leaders from both parties continuously criticise one another.
PTI chief played the major role in pursuing the Panama Papers scandal and taking it to the Supreme Court which eventually resulted in the disqualification of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
