The two were strong for the Chilean and Argentinian with 7-5 (5), 3-6 and 10-7. Jarry and Pella were admitted as lucky losers to the main event. Jarry was one of the players at the Melkhuisje Masters in May.
Both duos were broken once in the first set. Rojer and Qureshi were the strongest in the tiebreak, 7-5. In set two, Jarry and Pella had one break enough for the win in the set, 6-3. In the super break, Rojer and Qureshi were 10-7 at the longest end.
Rojer and Qureshi last played a tournament in October 2017. Even then, the collaboration was successful. They won the final match at the ATP tournament in Stockholm.
Rojer is in the final of an ATP doubles for the second time this year. He previously won the tournament in Dubai with Horia Tecau. In the final match in Barcelona, Rojer and Qureshi may meet Feliciano and Marc Lopez, who plays for their own audience. They play in the semi-final match against the Colombian couple Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.
