PTI flags, banners taken down in Lahore ahead of April 29 rally

LAHORE: The banners and flags of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were taken off in Lahore before party’s public rally on April 29 at Greater Iqbal Park.

According to media reports, the unidentified persons took down the banners and flags from Mall Road, Jail Road and other parts of the city.

The PTI workers tried to stop the individuals but could not as the persons fled the scene as party workers approached them, media reports stated.

PTI has announced a public rally in Lahore on April 29th under a new slogan of “Do Nahi Aik” demanding same Pakistan for everyone in the country.

In a video message, PTI Chairman Imran Khan urged his workers to come along with their families and friends.

Meanwhile, PTI has shown a letter stating that the party had already taken the permission to put up the flags and banners across the city.
