After widespread speculations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s love for his dogs being the actual cause of differences with his wife Bushra Manika, Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan wrote an opinion piece for an online publication to comment on the speculations.
“I suspect it could be Motu, an offspring of Sheru, that is causing the disturbance. But then, Motu is not really an indoor type,” he wrote in the opinion.
Reham also speculated that it may Imran’s ‘favourite’ party leader Zartaj Gul’s dog that she brought in Bani Gala which may be the reason. “It could be the dog brought into the house by Imran’s favourite PTI candidate, the ‘very passionate Zartaj Gul’. But since that addition wasn’t of a recognisable pedigree, the dog remained nameless. When no dog was around, Imran would whistle for it and use any name that he could think of from his not-so-vast vocabulary of dog names,” she further wrote.
She also published a few excerpts sharing his experiences with Khan, specially related to their shared fondness for dogs, from his soon-to-be-released book.
