LAHORE: All Pakistan Chemist Association on Thursday observed a shutterdown strike across the province against Drug Act 2017.
Numerous medical stores in Multan, Lahore, Vehari, Sadiqabad, Kasur, Sialkot, Chishtian, Faisalabad and other cities remained closed.
The reports, however, stated that the association was divided into two factions as one group announced its detachment from the protest.
Meanwhile, patients across the province suffered as they were unable to get the required medicines due to the lockdown of medical stores.
In Lahore, the stores outside Services Hospital were completely shut down while a few were open outside the Ganga Ram and Mayo hospitals.
