Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Manika on Thursday categorically rejected the reports of differences with her husband.
In a statement issued to a private TV channel here, Bushra said that news about differences with Imran was baseless and out of context.
Bushra said that she has been in Bani Gala for last few weeks and not in Lahore as claimed by some sources.
PTI ISSUES NOTICE TO MEDIA HOUSES:
PTI issued a legal notice to an Urdu daily, Roznama Ummat, and vehemently criticised the newspaper for initially publishing, what they said, untrue and fake news, with no truth in it, a foreign media outlet reported.
Similar notices were also sent to online publications, asking them to take down the story and immediately or face legal repercussions.
PTI has also maintained that it was the responsibility of the media to confirm the news from authentic sources before filing the news. The party also showed concerns regarding the miscarriage of journalistic ethics that caused disturbance to Khan and his wife, Bushra.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Imran’s personal life has been in the news for the wrong reasons. His previous marriages were also marred by controversies.
Imran was first married to Jemima Goldsmith and has two sons from the marriage. He then married TV anchor Reham Khan in 2015 but the marriage ended within 10 months.
