Neymar Jr. kicks off TCL’s 2018 global sports campaign

KARACHI: One of the world’s most influential and widely recognised athletes, Neymar Jr. on Wednesday, officially took up his new role as global brand ambassador for TCL, a top-three global television manufacturer.

“I am honoured to be Global Brand Ambassador for TCL. The brand and I share similar values, such as the constant pursuit of excellence and great results. My fans watch me play football on TV, and I enjoy watching sport on my TCL TV at home with my family and friends. I know the partnership with TCL will be an entertaining journey,’’ said Neymar at the events that took place in his hometown, Sao Paulo.

“This is a perfect fit for TCL because we are very passionate about sports,” said TCL Senior Vice President and TCL Multimedia CEO, Kevin Wang. “We are excited to work with Neymar and to offer consumers an immersive viewing experience to embrace the sports this summer with our intelligent TV products.”

Neymar experienced TCL’s flagship QLED TV X6 and TCL 4K UHD TV P6 at the event and helped to co-launch a series of TCL x Neymar advertising campaigns.

TCL’s journey in Pakistan has been of growth where it is now one of the Top 3 leading LED TV brands in the country.

“This latest partnership reflects on TCL’s growth and will strengthen our position as the leading choice for Pakistani consumers choice in LED TVs and High-End 4K UHD,” said Pakistan TCL GM Sunny Yang.

Globally, TCL is ranked in the top three of the Global LED TV market with a market share of 10.9% in 2017.
