MUMBAI: The wait is finally over, as the much-anticipated teaser of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s biopic ‘Sanju’ is out and you cannot tell if that’s Ranbir Kapoor or Sanjay Dutt.
The teaser covering all stages of Sanjay Dutt’s life gives a glimpse into roller-coaster life of the Bollywood star.
The movie is the product of renowned duo Rajkumar Hirani and Vinod Chopra who had earlier gave films like ‘3idiots’ and ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’
The critics have called it one of the most difficult acting challenges for Ranbir Kapoor who had already proved himself as an established actor through movies like ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Barfi.’
Earlier, Sanjay Dutt had stated in an interview that he does not want to show good parts of his life rather this movie will cover every aspect and the way he has lived.
Sanjay Dutt has constantly remained in the center of constant controversies and scandals including 1993 Bombings, and drug abuse throughout his acting career.
He was sent to jail in 2013 under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act. Charges of terrorism were dropped but he was convicted of illegal possession of weapons.
After serving his sentence with good behaviour and conduct, he was released on February 25, 2016.
