PPP’s Nafisa Shah accuses PTI of destroying KP

ISLAMABAD: Information Secretary of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPP) Dr Nafisa Shah claimed on Monday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) had destroyed the province “in the name of change”.

Talking to media, she said that corruption is rampant in the KP. “Shah Mehmood Qureshi should ask his leader Imran Khan that how KP landed into debt of nearly three billion rupees,” she stated.

“Money was minted by KP ministers in the name of billion tree project. Cabinet ministers of KP are even levelling corruption accusations against their own chief minister Pervez Khattak.”

The situation in KP government has gone so bad that the PTI MPAs do not want to side with Imran Khan while the condition of hospitals is even worse as people are forced to treat their patients in private hospitals,” Shah added.

PPP struggled against martial law: Nayyar Bukhari

Every worker of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) should take the message of chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to every corner of the country, party’s General Secretary Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said while talking to a delegation of office bearers of Peoples Youth Organisation and Peoples Students Federation which called on his residence on Monday.

Bukhari said that Nawaz Sharif was nurtured during the martial law era of ex-president Zia-ul-Haq where prospered economically.

“Only PPP is the party which struggled against martial law. Benazir Bhutto was imprisoned and Begum Nusrat Bhutto was beaten up publicly during the martial law,” he said.

He concluded, “Asif Ali Zardari was languishing in prison during General Musharraf’s martial law but Nawaz Sharif had immigrated to his palace in Saudi Arabia.”
