Suffering a 12-month ban after allegedly masterminding a ball-tampering plot, David Warner has reportedly taken a respite from cricket.
A video circulated on social media showed the disgraced Australian cricket vice-captain busy working on the building site of his under-construction mansion, located in the beachside Sydney suburb of Maroubra.
Warner’s wife Candice shared the video, saying, “A couple of cuties on site this morning checking out the progress of their bedrooms.”
The couple is building a $10 million mansion on a block of blue ribbon land overlooking Lurline Bay, which was purchased by David and Candice for $4 million in 2015, the Australian media reported during last December.
The family of four are currently living in a nearby Maroubra home they purchased for $2.3 million in March 2017 as they build their dream five-storey home.
In the video, Warner is wearing a hard hat at the building site along with his daughters, Ivy Mae and Indi Rae.
In March, an investigation by Cricket Australia alleged Warner to have masterminded a plot to cheat during the Third test between Australia and South Africa.
Warner was handed a 12-month ban after the sporting body found David had instructed junior player Cameron Bancroft on how to tamper with a ball using sandpaper.
Cameron received a nine-month ban while cricket captain Steve Smith was handed a year-long sanction for his knowledge of the plot.
