LAHORE: One person died in a traffic accident on the Ferozepur Road after the collision with a semi-trailer truck late Wednesday night.
According to rescue officials, the man was killed when a semi-trailer truck rammed into his motorcycle. Officials added that the truck’s driver escaped after ploughing into the bike.
The deceased’s body was subsequently moved to a nearby hospital.
Earlier on Tuesday, a motorcyclist was crushed to death by a crane working at the Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project near the Haji Camp stop.
According to the police, Asim was passing by the crane on a motorcycle when it hit him accidentally. The motorcyclist died on the spot.
Following the incident, local police reached the site of the incident and arrested the driver of the crane.
